The main sources of SOтВВ include burning fossil fuels, power plants, metal extraction, industrial processes, volcanoes, vehicle emissions, oil refining, and diesel engines. However, the Indian government's move toward BSVI-compliant engines has helped reduce SOтВВ emissions from vehicles.
